Offered Services

Central Indiana Insulation offers a wide variety of services and products to help meet the needs of each unique project.

Ammonia/Process

Ammonia is a compound of nitrogen and hydrogen. Ammonia refrigeration systems are a common choice in many process cooling applications, including food processing, beverage handling, chillers and storage facilities. The operating temperature of these ammonia systems can vary between -50°F and 50°F. Insulation is used to reduce the operating costs of the refrigeration system.

HVAC

In commercial buildings, air ducts are routinely used to distribute conditioned air to the various zones within the building. These duct systems carry heating, cooling, and/or ventilation air from a central location to the zones with the objective of providing for the health and comfort of the building occupants. Air systems vary in design and complexity, but insulation is routinely used on these duct systems to limit heat gains or heat losses and provide noise control.

Plumbing

Plumbing piping systems, commonly known as domestic hot and cold-water service systems, convey water to fixtures and equipment for various purposes in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The most common concerns with plumbing systems that should be addressed during the design stage include heat loss, condensation control, freeze protection, and mold protection. The purpose of insulation is to save energy, improve performance, control condensation, freeze protection, and reduce emissions.

Removable/Reusable Insulation Covers

Removable insulation blankets are made from multiple layers of thermal insulation materials and are combined into one unit. They are fastened onto valves, exhaust manifolds, and other mechanical items that need repeat access in order to maximize efficiency, regulate temperature, and improve workplace safety
